Goalkeeper Petr Cech returned to the field of ice hockey officially after he declared his retirement at the end of the season.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal, but the Stamford Bridge goal has been Cech’s greatest achievement. Cech has got four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, one Europa League and one UEFA Champions League throughout his career.
Petr Cech is one of the greatest goaltenders in Premier League history. The Czech goalkeeper kept 202 goals in 15 years of playing in the land of fog, a record that no-one can crack.
Cech declared his retirement last season and played his last game as Arsenal faced Chelsea in the Europa League final. Cech had been formally named technical and skilled advisor to the Blues since leaving the pitch.
Surprisingly, however, Cech decided to return to the sport field. This comeback is not the pitch, but it’s shocking that Cech decided to pursue ice hockey. Specifically, Cech has officially signed a 1-year contract with the Guildford Phoenix club and will make its debut on Sunday.
Having practiced with Guildford Phoenix after he retired, Cech excitedly said, “I’m very excited about playing this club. It’s going to be a fantastic experience for me to play after 20 years of professional soccer, a subject I loved when I was a kid.
In the near future, we – sport viewers- will have a chance to see Petr Cech’s performance as a professional ice hockey player. He will make a new fantastic record in ice hockey not only in the football field after a long time training hard to achieve his childhood dream. We hope Petr Cech will get a lot of success for his team in many contests all over the world. Your fans are always beside and support you everywhere throughout the TV screen.
