A PR campaign does take a great deal of work, effort and time. Plus a lot of contacts. Skyfire’s PR and Management packages are unique because they are personal and affordable. To hire a known London PR company for 1 album launch costs in the region of £15,000 upwards. Plus you will be expected to pay for a series of showcases in swanky venues, have professional photo shoots etc. So you are looking at a minimum investment once the album is ready of upwards of 25k including your recording and mastering costs fitted into the equation. After all that expense does it guarantee results? No. None whatsoever. Any PR and promotion will involve spending money, such as advertising campaigns. Bands can do a great deal for themselves for example work networking sites and send their albums out through the mail for review. But lets face it – without the contacts most reviewers will ignore you. A PR campaign will generate reviews, radio play and most importantly ATTENTION.
Our strategy is not to work on a percentage basis as is the traditional method but working on a per project basis for our clients. This keeps the artists money where it belongs as we do NOT take a cut of the artists’ earnings and you the artist/band are not tied to us for any longer than the project deadline, so no lengthy contracts.
The other difference with Skyfire is this:
There are so many companies out there that will tell you what you want to hear…we don’t. We tell you what you NEED to hear, good or bad, we pull no punches, we want the artists that we represent to succeed and sometimes the path is not filled with honesty and integrity. We are different with over 25 years personally in business management our aim is to make your project work, as this reflects well on us.
